Elizabeth Warren, and Jennifer Weiner. While she is known in the industry for negotiating 7- and 8-figure deals, she is most proud of introducing her authors to the publishing partners who share their long-term priorities and vision. A voracious reader and thoughtful editor, Celeste works closely with authors on their proposals and manuscripts. And as a trusted member of her clients’ inner circles, she and her team advise on books, tv, film, stage, marketing, publicity, touring, retail promotions, social media, international markets, speaking, merchandise, and more. Celeste is currently looking for upmarket fiction authors who make readers laugh or cry (bonus for both!), one-of-a-kind thriller authors who should be adapted for tv and film, and nonfiction authors who want to help readers navigate the world as it is today. Originally from California, Celeste graduated magna cum laude in Government from Harvard University and trained in international conflict resolution and mediation in The Hague. She lives in New York City and is in the office every day where she and her colleagues like to crack jokes while slaying dragons.
