About the Agent

Based in the New York office, Cindy Uh creates publishing opportunities for clients across a wide array of fiction and nonfiction. She represents many of the world's leading activists, journalists, thought leaders, illustrators, artists, and actors, including Lupita Nyong'o, Simu Liu, Tabitha Brown, Suzan-Lori Parks, Tarana Burke, Imani Perry, Ai-jen Poo, Stephen Satterfield, Weijia Jiang, Roy Choi, Rembert Browne, Patrisse Cullors, Nikki Erlick, Alex Elle, Mari Andrew, and Morgan Harper Nichols, among others. Uh joined CAA in 2019. A former employment discrimination attorney, advocacy continues to be at the heart of her work, with her representation centering on social justice, community, and culture. She graduated from Boston College with a B.A. in Communications and went on to receive her J.D. from UCLA School of Law with a concentration in Critical Race Studies.
