About the Agent

Emily Keyes founded Keyes Agency LLC in 2021, after her tenure at Fuse Literary. She has a strong track record representing award-winning titles, primarily in children's literature, but also considers select adult genre fiction that isn't "serious." Emily is passionate about discovering and developing new talent, and seeks projects that will ignite reader enthusiasm. She is looking for authors and illustrators with whom she can build long-term collaborative relationships. Previously, Emily worked at The L. Perkins Agency as a contracts manager and associate agent. Her early career included five years as a Contracts Administrator at Simon & Schuster. She is a graduate of New York University's Center for Publishing, class of 2008. Emily lives in Brooklyn and admits to spending an inordinate amount of time online.
