About the Agent
John Talbot brings over twenty-five years of experience in book publishing, serving as both an editor and a literary agent. His clients include authors of New York Times, USA Today, Wall Street Journal, and ABA Indiebound bestsellers, as well as recipients of national literary awards. He is a member of the AALA. Before becoming an agent, John spent more than a decade at Pocket Books and Putnam Berkley. At Putnam Berkley, he held the position of Senior Editor and had the privilege of working with global bestsellers such as Tom Clancy, W.E.B. Griffin, and Jack Higgins, alongside emerging literary talents like Tom Perrotta. During his tenure, he edited dozens of national bestsellers and several New York Times Notable Books. His editorial career began at Simon & Schuster. John earned his B.A. in English Composition from DePauw University.
