About the Agent

Hello! I'm a literary agent in New York City with 20 plus years of experience representing mostly nonfiction, including numerous New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestsellers. My authors have been honored with the Pulitzer Prize, Peabody Award, Global Teaching Prize (finalist), and GLAAD award, to name a few. I'm partial to business ideas and advice, investigative and narrative journalism, argument-driven work, prescriptive advice that address an unmet need, deep dives on unexpected topics and unfamiliar takes on familiar topics. I've held various management and marketing positions before working in publishing and served on the board or staff of notable non-profit organizations, including Dress for Success, Bottomless Closet, Woodstock Book Fest, American Management Association and American Bar Association. I currently serve on the board, Contracts committee and Ethics Committee of the Association of American Literary Agents and co-founded the AALA People of Publishing Conference. I have a BA in Philosophy and MBA.
